This replacement Female Connector (Female Internal Thread)  attaches the siphon hose to the main hose that runs to the faucet / T pump connector.  Designed for use with the Python No Spill Clean and Fill Aquarium Maintenance System. 
 
Connections types: one end to gravel hose  /  one end Female Internal Thread connects to male threaded fittings
